FMDA DD17.2

Overview

FMDA's stippled Glock 17 V2 frame. Full-size duty/home-defense platform chambered in 9mm. This is the standard DD17.2 from the FMDA V2 Gigapack.

Two STL variants are included: the standard stippled version (microtexture) and a no-microtexture version for nylon or resin printers.

Print Settings

• Nozzle: 0.4 mm
• Layer Height: 0.15 mm
• Temp: 225–230 °C nozzle / 60 °C bed
• Infill: 100%
• Supports: On, full. Interface gap ≤ 0.15 mm. Tree supports recommended.
• Cooling Fan: 20% normal, 50% bridges. Off for first 10 layers.
• Orientation: Rails down for best durability.

Slicer Notes

• Support X/Y Distance: 1.3 mm (prevents Cura from supporting stipples)
• Enable Z-hop on retract
• PrusaSlicer: set "Detect Thin Walls" to off

Microtexture

Use the stippled/microtexture version only on FDM printers with PLA. For nylon or resin, use the no-microtexture version.
